Par-Three Course Offers Way to Beat Bad Summer Weather

Golfers in Jamesville are finding a way to beat the weather this summer at the Butternut Creek Golf Course off of Jamesville Road. Golfers looking to take advantage of a break in the weather are turning to the par-three course because it takes less time than the traditional courses.
Manager Patricia Bielicki says the course “takes about an hour to play… (and) highlights families.” The course offers free ten-minute lessons every Tuesday night by golf pro Tom Speicher, but costs money for any additional lessons.
The most frequent players at the par-three course are junior golfers and seniors, but there is a driving range facing Highway-481 if you want to take the driver out.
