The Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce raises money for pro business candidates

The Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce kicked off its annual fund raising campaign Monday night. The Chamber's political action committee, Syracuse Tomorrow, raises money each year and endorses pro business candidates running in the Syracuse area.

The Chamber's Vice President of Government Relations, Deb Warner, says that while it has not finalized an agenda at this point, but generally the Chamber is looking to endorse candidates that have policies favorable area business.

The event gave people a chance to get to know some of the candidates running for office in this Novembers elections. More than fifty candidates and two hundred guests registered to come to the fund raiser.

This event was the first of several that Syracuse Tomorrow will be holding on the path to selecting candidates to endorse.
