Joe Nicoletti Plans to Tear Homes Down

Democratic candidate for Mayor, Joe Nicoletti, spoke at Syracuse University today. He explained that thousands of condemned homes are now owned by the city and must be torn down. Nicoletti sees this as an opportunity to create jobs, and save money! He says, "It is estimated, in Washington(DC), when you deconstruct you will cut the cost of demolition 50% on that property." By taking salvageable items out of the house and reselling them, the city can put the money saved into restoration projects in the city of Syracuse.
