Syracuse Mayoral candidate, Joe Nicoletti, announced today his plan for what he calls sweeping changes to city government if he is elected to office this November. During a news conference at Syracuse University's S.I Newhouse School of Public Communication, Nicoletti outlined his plan which he says will ultimately make city services more efficient and effective. Nicoletti's plan is centered upon cooperation between local municipalities, and the sharing of services and costs to provide a more effective way to maintain the city.

Nicoletti says that once in office he will begin evaluating which areas of the government need to be changed in order to modernize the structure of the cities system. Nicoletti says that we are currently operating in a government structure designed to run the city of Syracuse in the 1960's.

Nicoletti hopes to gain the Democrat nomination in the primary elections this September 8th.
