Crouse Health Foundation

The Crouse Health Foundation says today’s golf charity event is not going to make as much money as last year’s. The director of Development says the number of golfers is only down by four from last year but they have had a harder time getting sponsorships.
Doctor Tom Curran, Vice Chairman of the Crouse Health Foundation is not worried. He knows that people will continue to show up for this event because they know where the donations are going, “the money that is raised here stays in the community,” Curran says. "People who come here year after year know that their money is going to take care of the babies of Central New York.”
Organizers of the charity event say they expect to raise about $75,000 from today’s golf outing, which is $25,000 to $30,000 less than last year’s event.
